Futbolito Tournament Regulations
Article 1: League Objective
The main objective of this tournament is to promote community bonding, seeking to create fair teams to ensure a good atmosphere and competition for all participants.
Article 2: Team Formation
Each team will consist of five players plus a goalkeeper.
Article 3: Reinforcements
Only one reinforcement per game is allowed for each team, provided the team needs one (i.e., having 7 players or less).
To have more than one reinforcement, approval from the opposing team's captain is required.
Article 4: Scoring
Each victory is worth 3 points.
Each tie is worth 1 point.
No points are awarded in case of defeat.
In case of non-attendance, a 3-0 victory will be awarded to the opposing team.
Article 5: Schedule Changes
Schedule changes are not allowed unless due to force majeure.
Any changes must be approved by the League Commissioner.
Article 6: Tiebreakers in the Final Phase
In case of a tie in the final phase, two 5-minute overtime periods will be played.
If the tie persists, the winner will be determined by penalty kicks. Each team will take 3 penalty kicks, and if the tie continues, teams will take one penalty kick each until a winner is determined.
Article 7: Qualification for the Final Phase (Playoffs)
The four teams with the most accumulated points will advance to the final phase.
In case of a tie in points, the goal difference will be considered as a tiebreaker.
If the tie persists, the team with the most goals scored will be determined the winner.
Article 8: Authority of the League Commissioner
The League Commissioner has the authority to make any decisions deemed necessary for the well-being of the league.
Article 9: Game Rules
Specific game rules will be imposed by the referee and detailed in a separate document.
