Dear KEN Family,

Knowing who we can count on is very important to us, which is why we are excited to carry out the first community census of the KEN Jewish Community. This initiative will help us determine how many families we are and with that be able to make better decisions for the future of our community.

Why should you participate?

Your information is essential for the census to provide us with insights into how many we are, how we live, and what concerns us. We want your family to be reflected in the results—your participation is key!

The more we know, the more we can do: Every piece of information you share is an opportunity to improve and do more for our community. This census is being conducted with the support of the Strategic Analysis Committee (Comité de Análisis Estratégico) of the Central Committee of the Jewish Community in Mexico (Comité Central de la comunidad Judía de México). All your data will remain confidential and will only be used for statistical purposes. We thank the Jewish Federation of San Diego for their support making this project possible.

We all count: Talk to your friends and encourage them to participate. You don’t need an active membership at the Ken to be considered part of this great community we are all building together.

If you help, you win! By participating in the census, you will automatically be entered into a raffle to win 4 All-Inclusive nights at the Dreams Bahía Mita (lodging only, transportation not included). The raffle will take place on Yom Ha'atzmaut, Saturday, May 3, at the Ken.

How to participate?

Simply fill out the census questionnaire, it takes less than 10 minutes.

Questions and Answers
How long will it take me to complete the survey?
It depends on the number of members in your family, but approximately less than 10 minutes.
Will I be able to see the results of the census?
After completing the analysis, we will share a report with the community, allowing everyone to review the key insights together.
If a family member or friend is not a Ken member but occasionally attends events, should they complete the census?
YES! The census is not limited to active members or those who pay a fee. We want to gather information from everyone who considers themselves part of Ken—former members, parents of members, children of members, and more. If you feel connected to Ken, we encourage you to fill out the census!
What will the Ken do wit my information?
Your data will be handled with the highest confidentiality measures and will only be used to understand the composition of our community, gather insights on perceptions, and enhance our services.
How does the raffle for the All-Inclusive stay in Bahía Mita work?
Each family that completes the survey automatically enters into the raffle for the All-Inclusive hotel stay. The winner will be drawn live during the Yom Ha'atzmaut event on May 3rd. Please note that the prize includes only the hotel stay—transportation (air or land) and any additional expenses are not covered.
Why is the Ken collaborating with the CAE? What is the Central Committee of Mexico’s role in this project?
The Ken has a collaboration agreement with the Central Committee of Mexico, which has enabled us to work with the CAE (Strategic Analysis Committee) and benefit from their support in conducting the census. The CAE is the branch of the Central Committee responsible for collecting and analyzing community data in Mexico and helping develop projects based on the findings. We are deeply grateful for the support of both institutions in making this project possible.
